Janice Page, CPA

Janice Page is a member and partner, respectively, in the Manhattan public accounting firms of Ball Baker Leake, LLC and Ball Baker Leake, LLP which have been subject to Peer Review of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). The firm has a general accounting practice with Janice concentrating her time in individual, partnership and corporate taxation, divorce litigation, non-profit accounting and auditing, estate planning and setting up QuickBooks accounting systems. She also has been qualified and appointed as the accountant in charge of funds by the Federal court and NYS Supreme court on various class-action lawsuits and other types of litigation.

Janice has 40 years of experience as a Certified Public Accountant. Prior to starting her own practice in 1987, which she merged with Ball Baker Leake in 1999, she held positions as senior accountant in the auditing department of KPMG (formerly Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co.), senior accountant in the personal services department of EiserAmper LLP (formerly Richard A. Eisner & Co.) and Director of Finance of Japan Society, Inc.

She is a member of the AICPA and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA.) Janice has formerly been the Treasurer and/or Director of numerous organizations: Lehman Center for the Performing Arts, Service Fund of the National Organization of Women (NOW), Miramar Ski Club, American Society of Women Accountants, and Housing Action Council in Westchester.  She has been a member of the following committees of the NYSSCPA: Non-Profit, Litigation Support and Domestic Relations; Estate Planning Committee. 

Janice graduated from the Stern Graduate School of Business of New York University with a Master of Business Administration in Accounting, Hunter College of the City University of New York with a Master of Arts in Speech Pathology and Audiology, and Brooklyn College of the City University of New York with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Theatre.
